Dad, mom & myself at Cannon Beach Oregon 7-16-04. It was a short walk to the beach to see the sunset. We spent the weekend at the coast and had a great time.

Remember the movie "The Goonies" ....Haystack rock is in it!!  Dad loved getting his feet wet he was like a kid getting reconnected to the Pacific . He has such fond memories of it from his childhood so I know it did his heart good to be in it again. Am thankful we were able to go spend some time there with him.

View from trail at Ecola St Park in Oregon. 7-17-04 Dad & I hike 1.5 miles or 2 miles depending on which end of the trails markings you trust!! The trail wound around and up and down and then seemed to spit you out at vista's like this...well worth the hike!!
