8-24-05 David made it out to visit!! Picked him up at the airport in Seattle.....I didn't account for his long day to get here in my wonderful planning. We found the perfect stop outside of the ferry terminal in Everett.....it had 3 stores...the essentials that David wanted to hit while he was out here....brew pub, book store & coffee shop. We enjoyed them all!! It was great having him out here & showing him some of my favorite places!!!

My family camped on Whidbey Island a few summers ago. Deception Pass is so gorgeous!
We also visited Anacortes as we took the ferry from there to Orcas Island of the San Juans. That entire region is beautiful. We have great memories of exploring a tide pool near Deception pass where we and the kids saw much marine life up close, including (ew!) an octopus.
Great photos, reminding me of our own time there and that we need to get back there again. How is that you decided to take your bro there?
