8-5-05 Mt Adams and Horseshoe Lake. We had wanted to camp at Lake Taklaka but it was full already when we got there early Friday. Can't complain about the spot we ended up with at Horseshoe Lake....too much! After setting up camp, which basiclly composed of letting the tail gate down in the truck & getting out our chairs, we went for a hike around the lake. Fished a few spots but had been told it was late in the season for the trout to be biting....they were right.
